Retreat Hosts and Instructors
Alison Williams M.Ed, RYT 200 Alison Williams was on the USA Synchro National Team from 2006-2016 and was the 2016 USA Olympic Duet Alternate. She graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and will receive and Masters of Education in Transformational Coaching and Leadership in 2021. She coaches all levels of athletes and has placed athletes on the National Team. She is most proud of her inner journey in learning to use synchro to build confidence, improve self-worth, and heal from trauma. Now, she lives on the Big Island of Hawaii and is opening a business that runs a retreat center focused on personal growth and development.

Ashley Scheiba, RYT 200 Ashley is the founder of Way of Light Yoga Retreats. In the synchro world, Ashley served as the Head Coach of Tualatin Hills Synchro Club in Portland, Oregon from 2018-2020. She graduated from the U of M where she swam collegiate synchro. She is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and former yoga teacher at the Nike World Headquarters. Ashley is an experienced traveler (26+ countries!) and loves to share the experience of exploring new places with others.
Alison and Ashley met coaching Sacramento Synchronized Swim Team. They had an immediate connection and discovered their ability to co-create magical experiences. They completed their yoga teacher training together in India, and are looking forward to sharing their love of the water in Hawaii.
Camp Daily Schedule:
Day 1: Arrival, Opening Ceremony
Day 2: Synchro, Yoga, Mind Body Spirit Workshop
Day 3: Synchro, Rainforest Hiking
Day 4: Voice Workshop, Closing Ceremony at the Beach
Day 5: Synchro, Departure
*We can’t guarantee any specific activities but we will try our best to make the retreat complete and full of excitement. Currently the County of Hawaii Aquatics is operating their pools with COVID guidelines.
Description of the Location:
Orchid Isle Manor is a five acre estate in the Kona Coffee Country on the Orchid Isle of Hawai’i. Orchid Isle Manor has an on site studio and a mermaid lagoon (hot tub).
There are four cottages. You can request to be in a cottage with your friends. The facilitators will be in the main manor house where the catering is prepared.

Retreat Payment Information:
The retreat is $1,500 US Dollars with everything included except your flight to KOA (Kona). Registration requires acceptance of your waiver, registration form, and a deposit of $750 or full payment of $1,500. The remaining $750 is to be received on or before March 1st, 2022 to Way of Light Yoga Retreats LLC to complete the booking.
The Refund Policy is outlined in the Liability Waiver. Please secure travel insurance due to COVID-19.
