Contractor Agreement for Lauren Oiye

Lauren Oiye agrees to be a co-facilitator camp counselor for the Hawai’i Synchro Camp July 17-21, 2024.

Way of Light Yoga Retreats will book Lauren’s flights to Kona from Honolulu. Accommodation for facilitators will be the Manor at the Orchid Isle Manor.

Travel and Accommodations Included:

Flight round trip from Honolulu to Kona
Catering During Camp
1 pre-camp night stay airbnb and 4 nights of camp at the manor
Family member to assist Lauren with her newborn and share a room with at the Manor

Compensation:

$1,000 paid via Zelle, Venmo or Paypal upon completion by August 31st, 2024.
~$4,000 Hawai'i Expenses paid

Primary services and responsibilities include onsite logistics, coaching, and driving the 15 passenger van. Lauren Oiye is required to have a valid Driver’s License, and her own car insurance. She is also required to be Safesport certified, CPR/First Aid, USAAS Instructor Membership, and CCP1 certification through USA Artistic Swimming, at her own expense.

Onsite logistics include but not limited to: checking in participants to cottages for night checks, attending meals, handling any medical issues that may arise (e.g. taking participants to the doctor), or participant needs that may arise (items they forgot to pack, cottage issues, etc.), driving to and from the airport, activities, or as needed.

Way of Light Yoga Retreats have the rights to use any photos and videos taken on the camp/retreat for their own promotional advertising purposes with or without referencing Lauren Oiye as the photographer.

If for any reason Lauren Oiye does not attend the retreat she is responsible to find a comparable replacement. Her replacement will receive compensation per the above agreement.

Way of Light Yoga Retreats will only host the teen camp when the minimum number of thirteen participants is met. If the minimum is not met the camp may be postponed. This decision will be made by April 19th, 2024.

Facilitators will be paid via Venmo or Zelle by August 31st, 2024.
